Annyeonghaseyo
As you guys now know, Suz and I are planning a trip to Korea in 2015. Initially, we didn't plan on telling anyone yet because it was just a word of say and didn't have anything plan or anything concrete finalized. However, word got around and everyone kept asking so here I am officially saying that yes we are in the midst of planning a trip to Korea in 2015.
So, Why Korea? For the simplest reason, we are interested in the culture which was triggered by our beloved Leena Minah who made us watch WGM and got all of us hooked. Hence, apart from hoping we could bump into some of our favourite acts (think snsd), we want to go there to experience and embrace the culture.
Now, I am pretty sure, you must be wondering why 2015? For the most obvious reason that we need to save the moo-lah.Yes, we need that long to save because going to Korea is not cheap and having a longer period of time to save means more moo-lah and more moo-lah means more freedom to spend. So if you want to join us, start saving on the moo-lah. We are targeting a budget of 3k per person.
In addition, we are also still not sure if we should go by tour or free and easy. There are pros and cons to both choices. If I follow my heart, I would love to go with the free and easy because I just like the fact that we are free to create our own itinerary and not pay so much to the travel agency. But of course, I know there are a lot more to handle if we choose this path especially the language barrier. Hmm, maybe we should all enroll ourselves to pick up Korean. Anyway, we still have around 3 more years to make the decision.
We will be visiting Seoul and Jeju so this page will be divided into two section. So, all the details/planning will be listed here so do make sure to contribute by commenting or updating this section. Anyway, as this section is just a page and does not work like the blog section where post are separated by dates, it would help when updating, we keep to a certain format to make sure it is organize. I have added categories so if there are new information under that category, add a note so we know which one to look out for. If the category is new, add a new category title. =)
P.S: I found an online website where we can pick some Korean. Go visit talktomeinkorean.com
