T-Shirt Design (Logo)

Alright belo's,

This entry will be an update on the belo t-shirt. If you dont know what we are talking about, please read the previous post. So since there are many things to decide on, let's do this step by step. The first is decide on the front logo of the t-shirt. So far I have A.din and Zilah giving me their designs. So please feel free to comment. If possible, we can combine all these designs together to form one.

Belo T-Shirt

Hello my belos,

It's been awhile since the last post. Anyway, I am here writing on behalf of Aweng who refuses to write this post himself and kept on pestering me to do so.

I'm sure you guys are wondering what is the issue? Issue is he is suggesting to make a belo t-shirt so we can wear during outings. Obviously everyone needs to pay for their own t-shirt unless any kind hearted soul who is willing to pay for everyone.

Anyway, I think it's a pretty cool idea because we all once had class t-shirt or house t-shirt that we wore during sports days during secondary school days. So to have our very own belo t-shirt would be awesome. Don't you agree?

We dont have any finalized detail yet but we are looking at black collared shirt with some printings on it like below.

So what I need you to do is to give suggestions to what color, material and type by leaving a comment. And since this is going to be our very own first BELO t-shirt, opinions do matter!!
Thus, if you have any design, send them to my email account at zizyan13@gmail.com. I will put up a poll for us to vote if there are more than 1 design. And if you know of any shop that offers good and reliable printing of t-shirts, please leave a comment too.

An Addition

Hello Belos

As you all know, our dearest Biol has given birth to a beautiful baby girl and I have been waiting for a picture of her like forever. Although intially I wanted Prof Bona or Suzinak to do a post, I couldn't wait to share with the rest of the belos when I saw her (Thank Wan). So Ana and Suz, if you have more things to write or more pictures, you can create a new entry or just continue from here. =)

First and foremost, thanks to Mr Wan Cekik for organizing yesterday's makan outing. Although we did not stick to your original plan of eating at the Japanese place, we still had fun! And, no prizes for guessing who came and who didn't. HAH.

Next will be about Swimming, I think the bunch of us will be going Kuantan this coming friday night so again swimming has to be postponed. I am suggesting instead of postponing it to the week after, can we do it on Thursday? Just leave your comments and if I can get at least 6 people who can commit then let's do it on Thursday and let's not have dinner outside, instead we will head back home for dinner. What say you?

Tampines Vs Pasir Ris

Hello peeps,

Yesterday we had our weekly swimming session at Pasir Ris and those who went should know that the pool was quite crowded(guessing it's Friday night). So for next week session, I am undecided if we should go to Tampines or Pasir Ris Complex. Hence, let's do a vote! But before you vote, let's see the differences in both of the complex:

1. The Pasir Ris Interchange is not crowded as compared to Tampines Interchange.

2. There is a huge slide for us to play in the pool wheres Tampines Interchange does not have one.

3. There are four pools in Tampines Complex; baby, learners, intermediate and deep pool and the intermediate pool is bigger.

4. If talking about food choices, I think it's same for both Tampines and Pasir Ris because we can go downtown east to eat and walking distance is pretty much the same from Tampines Stadium to the Interchange. Plus point for Downtown east food place - not as crowded like Tampines.

So everyone let's vote and see what majority decides!

Goggles and Swimsuits

Hey Belo's

I am glad today went well. Although the weather was threatening us to ditch our plan, I am glad we stick and went through with it.

BOOO to Pak Haj for not wanting to join us when the weather didnt look promising. (Apa kirakan kalau hujan and tak swimming tak boleh lepak lepak ah dengan cousins tapi kalau hujan boleh lepak dengan kawan tengok movie ah? =p)

KUDOS to Maz and Mimin for surviving their first lesson in the pool. Finally you girls can float and do a little bit of swimming. So bila nak teach me how to cycle?

BOOO to John Jono for not coming and not informing. You missed out on all the fun and plus you missed out on free swimming lessons.

Sad to those who couldn't join us in the pool: Our swimming instructor Juriah, had some last min office work, Zilah was also down with fever and Wan who was off to Kuantan. Takpe, next week can join!

But nevertheless, we had a standby swimming instructor; Haini whose voice was sharp, clear and loud("Kick, Float, Kick, Float") and Awal/Rohana who assisted in the frog style swimming. Anyway, I am glad those who went had fun. So continue supporting me on this quest to be healthy. The fun will continue next week with details as follows:

Venue: Pasir Ris Swimming Complex
Time: 6.45pm (Those come late, join us in the pool since everyone knows where it is now)
Dress Code: Bring Goggles and use a swimming costume(just in case some lifeguards mengada-gada and dont allow cotton t-shirts and shorts in)
Misc: Bring $1.50 for entrance fees.

An attempt to be healthy

Hello my Belo's

After a whole month of stuffing our body with all the kuih muih and lemak lemak food, I am planning to go swimming at the new Pasir Ris Complex this Friday. The purpose is not only to have fun but also to do some exercising. Not in an attempt to be thin/sexy but rather to stay healthy. I am trying to make this swimming thing a weekly affair so come join and support me in the quest to be healthy!

If you are worried because you dont know how to swim, dont worry you can bring a float or learn some swimming from our very own swimming instructor Juriah. The details are as follow:

Venue: Paris Ris Interchange near bus service 12 line
Time: 6.45pm (if you guys are not there by that timing and never msg, I will just go in first so those coming later join us in the pool straight)
Attire: Swimming Costume (Sexy or non-sexy ones can)

I wont be messaging or forcing anyone to come because remember I am done with organizing a gathering so whoever wants to come can come and whoever doesn't want to come, you will be missing out on the fun! To Zilah Zilot, doing some relaxing activity is good in your preparations for your O's. To Haj Loktang, if you shy to show your sexy body, go get a body suit like I did so you can join us. To the rest, I will see you guys in the pool!!

P.S: I still want to learn cycling who want to be my instructor?

An Announcement

Dear Belos

The last gathering on Monday for the buka session was such a disappointment. There were those who:

1. Didn't reply to any messages at all or confirm their attendance via blog
2. Didn't turn up and only message at the last min
3. Cannot make it and didn't even bother to reply until organizer message on that day itself.

Look people, this is definitely not the first time and to be honest, I am really getting sick and tired of trying to organize a gathering.

What I really cannot understand is if you can respond to your friends messages in an instant or set time aside for your friends, then why can't you do so for your family? So until you can give me a very good answer, please do not ask bila nak ada gathering or when are we meeting anymore because itu time, on the spot, aku akan kasi korang belo forbidden jutsu.

Oleh kerana ni bulan ramadan dan aku harus banyak bersabar, I shall stop my ranting here. With that, I shall leave you with a final announcement. Please view the video:

Hello, I am starting a new post to finalize the date of the BBQ. So everyone please take note and comment on this post!! I need someone to contact Suzinak, Min Siao Liao, Mak Ni Glamour, Prof Bona to confirm attendance.

WHEN?
1st July, Friday (Evening) to 2nd July, Saturday (Afternoon)

WHERE?
East Coast Park, Opposite Burger King

WHAT TIME?
Those who are not working or those schooling will proceed first. Meet at Tampines Interchange at 5pm. The rest please make your way to the venue yourself.
Instead of meeting at Tampines Interchange earlier for those not working or those schooling, please proceed to the place yourself. As I and Awal have a lot of things to bring, we will be cabbing from our house. We will reach east coast around 5pm so anything call Awal or me when you reach already.

GUEST-OF-HONOR?
That's right, we are expecting a guest of honor, known as STEAMYMEME. He will be making a special appearance. Ini susah datang punya!!

FOOD & DRINKS?
To not trouble our mothers, for the food, we'll order them from the bbq wholesale. So guys, remember our belo fund? Currently, it is standing at $65. If everyone is agreeable, we will use these funds to pay for the food. But with only $65 we can only buy so much plus we still need to buy drinks and ice and etc, so we need people (esp those who are working) to contribution some $$ to help with the remaining expenses.

The food for the BBQ will be :
50 pieces Otah
60 pieces Smoked Buffalo Wings
40 pieces Spicy chicken wings
20 pieces Sambal Squid
40 pieces Black Pepper Prawns
30 pieces Shitake Mushroom
2 pkts of Cheese Hotdogs
2 pkts of Sotong Ball
1kg Beef
Fried Mee Suah with Egg
1 pkt Marshmellow

For drinks, it will be Lemon Barley Cordial

If you feel strongly against the list of food or have any suggestion, please comment. For the drinks, it will be cordial drinks any suggestions to what flavour?

WHAT TO BRING?
It is an overnight stay so make sure bring extra baju and undergarments if you want to bermandi manda!! If you have board games, bring them so we can play them!!
There will also be a list of things each family have to bring like tents and etc. Will update when more details are finalized with the organizer!!
