Me and Suz are in the midst of planning for a trip to Korea in 2014. So instead of messing up this blog section with constant updates of the trip, I created a "Korea Trip" tab for it. So do keep checking for details.

Cheapest to Seoul is airasia -$900+ but it'll be a connecting flight. Direct flight cheapest is Korean air - $1.2k+. If SQ will be $1.4k+.
I think I can read ur mind. Jeju island will be connecting flight. No direct flight. $1k can fly there but timing is abit screwed up. Average is at least $1.2k+ for Korean air or air china. Ermz Thts if u trust tht airline. Korean air still can be trusted.

I didnt think tix would be that expensive cuz Korea is part of Asia. Hah. So ignorant of me!

usually SQ cause free flight..
recently he took korean air..
but aunty inja(his korean fren) said air asia not bad jsut that have pit stop at malaysia..
but my mom say.. these kinda things must keep checking.. cause sometimes have offer.. and to what she know.. when it isnt peak period or when SQ is on offer.. tix can go as low as 700 to 800 yeah..

places like japan/korea will definitely cost more even if it's in asia. even part of turkey(asia side) cost more than 1k.
what suz say is true. need to keep checking e prices. but if u all r planning to go during sch holis, ther'll b not much diff. prices wont range tht much. if off-peak period, book 6 mths before. u can get tix less than 1k, prob $500 cheaper.

try to play ard w e dates and compare. e only negative point is tht if u wanna book 6-8 mths before, make sure it's concrete and there's no last min changes/cancelation. tht's my piece of advice.
btw. wht i meant by $500 cheaper is based on average price minus approx 500 so it'll be like $700-800++. and make sure when u find out e prices, it's inclusive of taxes and all alr. some offers may seem cheap cuz taxes, baggages etc are not inc.
